Have you spotted that many casinos are social settings now? The casinos in Europe, especially where the consumers sat transfixed by the whirl of the ball across the roulette wheel, were as quite as libraries only a couple decades ago. However the times they're a changing! And more-so within the good old USA, where players travel in packs, making the real gambler or two within the bunch appear to be they have got an entourage. Granted, there's always the only guy who has no money but insists on telling his buddies how you can play, but that is weird.
Just a decade ago, even in Las Vegas, the craps games had the respect of being the table game to choose in the event you desired to interact with the opposite players and yell and scream. Sure, the dealers may well be surely and sarcastic, but that was a part of the charm of craps. You can now get sarcasm at any table, from the dealers and the opposite players. And, you'll be able to hear players screaming about their $10 blackjack from 100 feet away. Where did the casinos get it wrong? Or did they?
In the 1960's, Nevada casinos hired pretty girls to "shill" games by simply playing the minimum and looking out good. Yeah, other players joined the happy ladies on the tables. Within the 1970's and early '80's, casinos paid good looking men and women to play on the $1 slot carousels, and so they were expected to whoop and holler. Action and excitement creates more action and excitement. NUMEROUS today's casinos are becoming a free ride, as players are very vocal now. If lets just convince them to quit using the "F" bomb on every occasion they bust on a hand all can be well, but noisy, for the reason that cooler casinos are where to be and be seen. It is a real social atmosphere now. Go figure.
