Former NBA star Dennis Rodman is the winner of a dubious honor, topping GQ's annual list of "Least" influential celebs.
GQ's Least Influential list is a twist at the normal fare that you just see from magazines that annually dole out awards for things like World's Sexiest Man or World's Most pretty Woman.
The Least Influential list is precisely what it seems like: essentially the most desperate celebs that attempted to snatch headlines over the past year but with little sizzle or star power to really back it up. Rodman popped back into the inside track after a visit to North Korea to observe basketball and chill with Kim Jong Un; he'd later be sponsored by online sportsbook Paddy Power for an additional trip to take a look at to establish basketball matches between North Korea and the remainder of the world.
GQ's tackle Rodman's efforts that landed him atop their list? They dubbed Rodman a"Q-list celebrity willing to commit borderline treason simply to hang around with a dictator who himself aspires to be a Q-list celebrity."
Rodman would likely have preferred to be named World's Sexiest Man but no less than he's back within the limelight again to any degree as he'd largely disappeared lately with the exception of an occasional sighting in Las Vegas clubs and casinos.
Paula Deen was right behind Rodman within the second slot, followed by politician Anthony Weiner. Deen's cooking empire crumbled in 2013 after allegations were raised concerning racism and Weiner was embroiled in and ultimately disgraced by a sexting scandal that derailed his political ambitions.
Other celebs that made GQ's Least Influential list included Miley Cyrus, Barack Obama, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Ryan Reynolds, and can Smith -- or, you know, basically every celebrity that made the inside track over the past year.
