Players from all countries can PLAY!
Fifty years ago, most casinos had their very own branded slot machines and that gave the valuables a particular feel. Harrah's properties had all-silver Pace machines, the Nevada Club used all Jenning's machines, Harold's Club used Pace machines but they were all painted red. I remember the machines at Harvey's at Lake Tahoe and the way each wheel bounced because it stopped at the line. Things changed with video machines.
When they first came out, Caesars had a Piper Cub hanging from the ceiling and also you could win it in case your video slot machine hit the jackpot. Pretty cool. I also remember the display kept flashing encouraging says like "Columbus took an opportunity". That was fun, although I never won the Piper or learned to fly. Caesars Las Vegas had a very nice portion of games, as regards to Cleopatra's barge, that were all Asian Games like Pai Gow Tiles and Sic Bo. I loved playing Sic Bo, it jogged my memory such a lot of carnival games I COULD NOT help myself.
Today, there is not always that gigantic a difference within the casino mixture of slot machines. With Williams and Konami and IGT fighting for popularity with themed and tie-in games (think: Batman-Ferris Bueller-The Hangover), most casinos attempt to stay alongside of their competition and everybody finishes up looking like their neighbors. That's too bad. I'VE noticed a large difference within the choice of video poker games available in predominantly Indian Gaming states like Oklahoma and Arizona, where they have got only 5-10% in their slots represented by poker. There are many spots in Vegas where the combination is more like 20 percent. Why the disparity I wonder?
At least a couple of properties, just like the Hard Rock, Margaritaville, and the Palms look slightly different from everyone else. I DO KNOW the Revel tried the similar thing, but sometimes being different isn't enough I GUESS. Anyway, who's got a vote for a very different look - and yes, I BELIEVED of The D in Downtown. What'cha got?
